In 1990, Crista Cron, an American mother of three, faced the challenge of finding suitable childcare for her children. Recognizing the difficulty and time-consuming nature of this task, especially before the widespread use of the internet, she established the Hottingen babysitting service on a voluntary basis.

 

Crista Cron's personal commitment to ensuring professional and dedicated caregivers led her to develop a proprietary approach for selecting the right nannies. She personally gets to know all supervisors and introduces them, ensuring they meet the standards of professionalism, confidence, and care she values. Over the years, Crista Cron has accumulated extensive experience, assisting hundreds of nannies and families.

 

Under the name care 4 kids since 2000 and as a GmbH in the greater Zurich area since 2015, the company has grown significantly. Initially comprising just 30 nannies  and babysitters, care 4 kids now boasts over 180 carers and continues to expand, ensuring suitable childcare solutions for every family.
